Jedat Inc. recently took over the business operations of the EDA Systems Division of SII(EDA: Electronic Design Automation). We offer software environments for the design of electronic components(including semiconductors and liquid-crystal display devices), and other microfabrication components. We also provide related support and consultation services. These software environments have either been developed in-house, or are based on technologies brought in from other organizations in Japan or overseas.

Development of high-quality, large-scale software products

We improve the quality of our products by responding to feedback at an early stage in the design process, rather than after a full-scale installation, using prototyping technologies that we have developed over more than 20 years. To ensure that our products are of the highest quality, our checks include not only limit and exceptional value tests, but also fool-proof and regression tests. Customers can have the utmost confidence in the products that they are using.

High-speed processing technologies for large-scale graphics data

Our large-scale data handling technologies, such as a virtual mapping technology for managing several tens of gigabytes of graphics data with limited resources, and a two-dimensional data management technology for high-speed data searches, have proven their compatibility with conventional products and have been received very well. We will not be satisfied with the current levels of technology and will continue to develop solutions capable of handling larger-scale design data.

Technology for implementing advanced Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)

We use platform-independent, C++-based GUI application framework technologies in our products, allowing our users to easily customize the GUI to suit their own applications. This framework was developed using a leading-edge object-oriented method, which greatly improves maintainability. To display large-scale data, we are using data handling, heuristic displays, and array display technologies to achieve the world's best levels of performance.
