In 1982, Jedat Inc. when it was formerly the EDA Systems Division of Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII) released the SX-8000 series of proprietary developed CAD systems for semiconductor design onto the market. Since then, we have taken the initiative in proposing products and services geared to market needs as typified by its successor, the SX-9000 series, and our latest offering the Alpha-SX series. We have also conducted well-timed strategic alliances with partner companies both in Japan and abroad to provide state-of-the-art products and technologies that complement our lineup of in-house developed products. We offer our customers total solutions by providing the same high level of support for partner company products as well as for our own products. Our primary target is the field of custom design that covers full-custom LSIs, such as analog, memory and LCD drivers, and other fine-pattern components in LCDs, for example. In this field, there is a strong tendency to rely on the skill, craftsmanship and expertise of experienced engineers. As such, automation of design that is being practically implemented in ASIC and FPGA is extremely difficult in this area. As an exclusive EDA vendor for the Japanese market, Jedat provides a comprehensive lineup of detailed products, services and solutions aptly matched to customers.

    This integrated design environment is intended for custom logic design of memory, LCD drivers and other components. Since this design environment integrates circuit design and physical design by design constraints, non-retrogressive design with built-in quality can be proceeded with efficiently at each phase of design.

    This integrated design environment is intended for the design of analog LSIs, LCD drivers, CMOS sensors, and other devices.     This integrated design environment is intended for various FPDs (Flat Panel Display) such as TFT, STN, OLED, and PDP as well as the fine-pattern design of color filters, magnetic heads, BGA, TAB, lead frames, optical waveguides, and thermal heads. This environment enables high-quality design to be proceeded with efficiently in all processes starting with overall design of FPD circuits including peripheral driver circuits, for example, through to layout design and reticle design.

    This ultra high-speed browser can handle huge amounts of photo mask data after OPC processing. Overlaying design data, mask data and various hardware data enables data analysis.

    This design system features CMP model-based high-speed and high-precision film thickness simulation so that only the minimum required number of dummy patterns need to be inserted.
