CustomCreator is the integrated design environment that centers on the constraints in a physical circuit/design.
This software series targets the custom logic design of memories, drivers and other devices.
CustomCreator performs prototyping of the layout at the circuit design stage so that wiring parasitic effects can be predicted to high precision.
A non-retrogressive design environment can be achieved by inheriting prototyping results to layout design as constraints.

Design Flow

AnalogCreator comprises the following tools.

■ Schematic entry with powerful circuit debugging functions
"Asca"

This circuit design editor is provided with dynamic signal trace, parameter programming language definition and other functions. It also has an interface with a de-facto simulator, and features such as cross-probing of schematic diagrams with simulation result waveforms help build an even more powerful debugging environment.

■ Critical path circuit/wiring parasitic effect modeling tool
"WLModeler"

This tool places dedicated symbols in schematic diagrams to model wiring parasitic effects and gate loads in repeated circuits. It allows parasitic RC values and parasitic model iteration counts to be calculated as parameters.
The model topology can be freely defined, allowing a variety of patterns to be easily supported.

■ Prediction of circuit quality including wiring parasitic effect based on rough floor plan
"Dessin"

This tool enables planning of only required sections at the circuit design stage. The size of the floor plan also can be estimated based on the area estimate from circuit data.
Parasitic RCs can be extracted, and back-annotated to the wiring parasitic model created in WLModeler.
Prototyping results can be inherited to the layout process not just as layout data but also as constraints.

■ Automatic extraction of constraints from schematics, GUI-based constraint management
"Coulom / CVM"

This tool automatically extracts constraints, such as same type, from schematics. Constraints can be managed completely by the GUI.

■ Next-generation layout editor incorporating a manual design environment and powerful automatic design tools
"Ismo"

This tool enables efficient layout design while maintaining schematic and constraint information at the same time.
